Take a trip to Lakhpat Fort and Narayan Sarovar today.
Lakhpat fort is approximately 1.30 hours from Nakhtrana. Once a thriving port, the village of Lakhpat is now deserted with hardly a population of few thousands in the fortified walls. Places to see are Lakhpat Fort, the Gurudwara where Guru Nanak is believed to have stayed on his return from Mecca, Ghaus Mohammed no Kubo & Sayyed Pir no Kubo.
Around mid-day, head to Narayan Sarovar, which is approximately 40 minutes from Lakhpat. Narayan Sarovar is an important pilgrimage site for hindus and has temples and a lake that is said to have water from the river Saraswati.
In the latter half of the day you can head to Mandvi, which is another 3 hour drive from there. But if you are too tired, then you can head directly to Mandvi beach. Some places you can visit are Sundarwar temple, Jama Masjid, Lakshminarayan Temple, Kajivali Mosque, Rameshwar Temple among a few. From there, you can head to Devpur.
