Best Goa Resorts with Private Beach

Firstly, technically there are no private beaches in India because the entire coastline is, by definition, public property. However, because of road accessibility and geography, many resorts in Goa end up having *almost* exclusive access to the beach adjacent to them, making them virtually private. I will list my pick of the best ones below.

The Leela Goa

Widely considered India's top beach resort, The Leela Goa is set at the edge of a vast stretch of unspoiled coast. The resort itself is centered on a man-made lagoon that meanders and curls among the lush vegetation. It's extremely expensive, but there are always excellent deals and packages available in the low season.

Taj Exotica

The Taj Exotica features lovely surroundings and a kick-ass beach that might just as well be private. Even the cheapest guest rooms are spacious, with large picture windows and private patios or balconies. And of course, you get the famed warm service that the Taj is known for.

Although Agonda is publicly accessible, it is remote and generally stays secluded on most off-season days. H2O isn't your regular hotel either. It consists of wooden bungalows set on the edge of the beach. They're immaculate and spacious, and very stylish. There are no frills or hotel-like amenities, but the design and perfect setting more than make up for this.

Hope you find these useful. I'd love to personally help you plan your trip to Goa. Check out my profile for more information.
